Filmmaking is an artform that combines storytelling with dynamic, visual imagery. It is as timeless as it is global, but that’s not to say it hasn’t changed dramatically over the past century. We’ll look into the computer-generated imagery behind many of today’s theatrical blockbusters, as well as industry methods like chroma keying and motion capture. I’ll also share some of my thoughts, including my film favourites, my thoughts on modern cinema consumption, and my predictions for the future. Together, we’ll pull back the fantastical curtain of Hollywood and see what filmmaking is all about.
